iLoveAudioVideo is a set of free audio and video tools that run in your browser. You can turn recordings into text, make subtitles, and compress, convert or trim videos without uploading your files anywhere.

Who makes it

iLoveAudioVideo is made by Jhilmil Labs, a small company that builds simple apps for everyday life.

Why the tools run on your device

Most online converters send your file to a server, process it there and send it back. That means waiting for an upload, size limits, and trusting someone else with your recording. These tools do the work inside the browser tab on your own device instead. Your files never leave it.

How you can check

Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and use a tool. You will see the page and files needed to run the tool download, including files for speech recognition on first use, along with requests for Google ads, but your file is never sent. How it works explains what runs where, and the test results show how fast and accurate the tools are in our own tests.

How the site is paid for

The tools are free. A labelled space for a Google ad sits below tools on the main site. The privacy page explains what that means.
