How to download a Discord voice message
Discord has no download button for voice messages. On a computer, open Discord in a browser and go to the channel or DM containing the message.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows or Chromebook, or Cmd+Option+I on Mac.
- In Elements, press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) and search for voice-message.ogg. Alternatively, look in the Network tab while playing the voice message.
- Copy the attachment link, open it in a new tab and save the file to your computer.
There is no reliable way to save these voice messages on a phone. Use a computer for this step, then choose the saved file above.
A chat link is not an audio file
This converter needs the saved attachment. Pasting a Discord message link or an attachment address does not give the tool access to the recording. If you saved a web page instead, return to the attachment link and save the audio itself.
The original is an .ogg file named voice-message.ogg. Renaming it to .mp3 does not convert the sound. Choose the original here and let the tool make a separate MP3.
Keep the sound, or get the words
MP3 gives you an audio copy for listening outside the chat. It cannot restore words that were already unclear in the recording. Keep the original attachment too if you may need it later.
For a written reply or searchable notes, use Discord voice message to text. That page accepts the saved .ogg directly; making an MP3 first is unnecessary.

There is no reliable phone method. Open the channel or DM on a computer and save the attachment there first.
Can I convert several Discord voice messages at once?
Yes. Choose the saved files together. Each gets its own MP3; download them separately or in a ZIP below 4 GB. This does not join the messages.
What can stop a conversion?
An incomplete download or a file that is actually a web page cannot be converted as audio. Large jobs also depend on device memory and storage; a result above about 1 GB may be refused.
Does this tool connect to my Discord account?
No. You save the attachment yourself. The converter reads the file you choose on your device and does not fetch chats or ask you to sign in.
Is my file uploaded?
